Holiday Trip Account
okay actually i was back like two days ago. I had no time to type then cause we were like getting rid of all the clothes and doing laundry and unpacking all the souvenirs, yes guess what guys I've got souvenirs for all of you :) anyway here's the account of my trip.
13th June, Sunday, 2010
we started out from Ang Mo Kio at around 6.30am then we waited for my cousin to join us before we headed off to Tuas Checkpoint. We crossed the Causeway at around 7.50-8.00 am. The plan was to head up to Cameron Highlands first then go back down to KL. The drive was like 10-12 hours and i got car sick...
we stopped for lunch and ate chicken rice at a rest stop and there were so many flies!! but thankfully we left early. I managed to read up to chapter 20 of the Vampire & the Virgin :) so happy about that.
we reached the Century Pines Hotel at around 6.15 in the evening and checked in to the hotel. The room number was A518 it is two stories and there was a TV and DVD set. We had a bath once we reached to wash off the dirt and dust. Oh the good thing is you have free aircon because the temperature is like about 18 at night and about 20-25 in the day.
at 7.30 that evening we met in the lobby and went for dinner at Chef Cho's to have seafood steamboat. then we were back to the hotel and i slept late.
14th June, Monday, 2010
woke up at around 7.35 and i had quite a hard time sleeping the night before. We had breakfast in the hotel's cafe. I had omelet as well as other assorted foods. Then we headed off to one of the many strawberry farms. Bought souvenirs there. Next stop was the flower farm i took photos like mad there. After that was the Butterfly Farm. the butterflies were all so beautiful and i loved the black one in particular.
there was a brief stop at the Bee Farm and since it was raining there wasn't much to see. We had lunch there then it was on to the Time Tunnel, where i took alot more photos :) There was lots of interesting historical artifacts and information there and we spent about 2-3 hours there.
our last stop was the T-Cafe where we had tea i had a banana chocolate cake and my sibs had strawberry cheesecake and we all had some scones and a coke float and the adults had Jasmine tea...then we went back to the hotel and rested i managed to read up till chapter 23 of the same Vampire book.
i had a bath in the big bath tub and i took a long soak. The bath was so refreshing, after that we changed up and went down to the hotel's Cafe for dinner. I had Pine Sandwich that consisted of chicken, lettuce and onion and a handful of fries. That's where i met this...nice feller haha not gonna say anymore though.
after dinner it was back to the hotel rooms where we had a chat with out relatives (Daniel & my godparents) then the youngsters spent their time watching the TV, Fairly oddparents and just jordan. I spent my time reading and i finished up to chapter 27 of the same book.
15th June, Tuesday, 2010
the day started at 7.06 and thankfully i had a wonderful sleep the night before. we packed most of our stuff then we had breakfast at the cafe which was so crowded with some retreat, i met my friend from drama there (Esther) then at 8.52 we were on the way to KL. The last stop was in Cameron Valley Tea Plantation where we had brownies and vanilla ice-cream.
we arrived at Melia Hotel at around 3.50 in the afternoon and checked in, this time i got to sign, for once the room number is 615 :) then it was off to shop!! first was the Sungei Wang Shopping center where i bought KAT-TUN and SuperJunior magazines as well as a GD keychain and a bigbang card. Also went to buy an R4 for the DS (like 60 games inside) we had dinner at Kyros Kebab then we headed back to the hotel.
i watched Prince Caspian on the televesion :) and then the show finished at around 11that's when i went to bed :)
16th June, Wednesday, 2010
woke up at 7.01, brush teeth, took a shower then headed off to Berjaya Times Square which was just opposite my room haha :) the first shop was Borders and i bought manga there!! then it was off to Anime Tech, this WONDERFUL shop that sells Anime!! and i bought like tons of them about 6-7.
tickets were booked to watch KARATE KID and the A-Team. I seriously love those shows. especially Karate Kid where there was those cool kung fu moves it was so awesome and in A-Team it was just amazing to see all the planning and B.A was like so funny (his fists had PITY on one side and FOOL on the other)
yup yup then we packed up as the next day we would head back to Singapore.
so now...i'm back and well, i had to clean my room...AGAIN...and tomorrow is Daniel's Birthday and Father's Day and the day that we'll be watching Toy Story 3 :)
